Mini Scouts: (8 and under)  

This group is designed for swimmers who have some swim lesson experience, but don’t have legal strokes. They are still working through concepts like side breathing, breaststroke, and butterfly,  but are water safe. Swimmers will begin to compete in intrasquad meets.  

Requirements: Water safe 30-second back float, and treat water for 1 minute. They can make it to the other side with freestyle or front crawl. 

Mini scouts practice twice a week for 45 minutes
