Junior Scouts (9-12) 

Swimmers in this group will have 4 legal strokes and continue to build on proper technique. Swimmers start to build good training habits and the basics of racing. There will be a big focus on being a good teammate and giving their best effort on and off the pool deck. Swimmers in this group are expected to attend meets throughout the season and will compete in a variety of races chosen by coaches. While the primary focus is still on technique, swimmers will begin to practice with longer sets and more intense kicking.    This level is geared to children ages 9-12, and practices are offered 4 days a week.
